Sailfish release is a Great way to start a trip. That is how our 1/2 day started. Our lines were in the water less than 10 minutes, and 💥 “SAIL ON”. Nothing compares to the adrenaline rush that comes from that initial feeling you get when your drag starts singing. When sailfishing, it is important to remember that these are prized fish, and should be handled accordingly. We don’t kill any billfish. Whether it’s Marlin, or Sailfish we just simply take a picture and send them back to fight another day.
Sailfish Release is called on the vhf radio to the other captains in the charter boat fleet to let the other captains fishing during the day know when and where the fish was caught. we try and help one another out in our fleet. We also catch some pretty good eating fish when Trying to catch sails…. Tuna,Dolphin,Wahoo are all by catch of sailfishing… when we arrive at the dock. I fillet the eating fish and our charters generally take their catch to Dantes raw bar. They do a wonderful job at preparing the fish several different ways. so check out dantes raw bar… for $10 they will cook up to a pound of your fish and attach to sides with it… you can’t beat the price.
check out some 0f our recent catches below.
