November in Key West offers some of the best fishing opportunities, and a family trip aboard the WildBill with Captain Art Duplessis and Mate Jerry made it an unforgettable adventure. The WildBill, a well-equipped charter boat, has everything needed for a successful day on the water, and with Capt. Art and Jerry’s guidance, we were in excellent hands.
We set off early, greeted by calm seas and clear skies, ready for a day of fun and fishing. The plan was to target the reefs, hoping to bring in some Yellowtail and Lane Snapper. With Capt. Art’s expertise in finding the perfect spots and Jerry’s quick rigging skills, it wasn’t long before we started getting bites.
The Snapper were plentiful, providing a steady stream of action as we reeled them in. Both fish put up a fun fight and are delicious, so we were thrilled to get some keepers on board. Capt. Art and Jerry worked as a perfect team, helping each of us with bait, reeling techniques, and making sure everyone had the best chance of landing a fish.
As if the snapper weren’t enough, we also hooked into several sharks! It was exhilarating to feel the power of these fish and test our strength. Jerry guided us through each catch, handling the sharks expertly to ensure everyone stayed safe.
By the end of the day, we had a cooler full of snapper and memories of the thrill of battling sharks. Fishing with Capt. Art and Mate Jerry on the WildBill made for a perfect family day, filled with adventure, laughs, and plenty of fish to take home.
