Cobia is a fish we generally see around Key West during the winter months
yesterday afternoon we had the pleasure of taking out a pretty cool Family from Iowa. Cool not only because they were Chicago Bears fans, but also because the peeps can FISH!
Embarking on a fishing adventure in Key West is a thrill for any angler, and aboard the charter boat WILDBILL, the experience becomes truly unforgettable. As the sun kissed the horizon, our lines were deployed and the anticipation of the catch filled the salty air. Cerro Mackerel, known for its agile acrobatics, provided an electrifying start to the day. The fight between angler and fish was exhilarating, leaving us in awe of the raw power beneath the waves.
The real crescendo, however, was the battle with a colossalCobia its sheer size and determination showcased the prowess of Key West’s rich waters. Captain Art  expert navigation ensured we danced with the waves, making the capture a story to be retold among fellow fishing enthusiasts.
Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, a massive Mutton Snapper took the bait. The mate Jerry’s quick reflexes and guidance played a pivotal role in securing this prized fish, adding the perfect finale to an already epic day.
