September 12,2022…..September is generally a transition month fishing wise in Key West. There has still been plenty of nice Dolphin catches the past weekend. A few Sailfish around, and some Big Wahoos.
Also very nice catches of Yellowtail snappers along the reef. Grouper is in mid-season and Plenty of nice Black,Gag,Red Grouper reports from the weekend. Snowys offshore.
Wont be long before the winter winds approach from the North with the bite of Cold air attached to it. Along with the cold winds will bring the Mackeral closer to the Island.
