Fishing Adventures Aboard the WildBill in Key West
Reef Fishing in Key West is always an adventure, and aboard the charter boat WildBill with Captain Art Duplessisand mate Jerry, you’re guaranteed an unforgettable experience, no matter the conditions. On a recent trip, strong offshore winds kept us close to the reef—but it turned out to be a fantastic decision.
The reef was teeming with life, and Captain Art’s expertise quickly put us on the fish. With Jerry’s help, the day was non-stop action. We landed a mix of Yellow Jacks, Snapper, and several dazzling Cerro Mackerel that lit up the deck with their silvery stripes. The excitement peaked when we hooked into a big Mutton Snapper—a true trophy fish that got everyone cheering. Grouper rounded out the day, adding variety and a thrilling fight to the mix.
Thanks to the WildBill team’s skill and hospitality, we had a successful day despite the windy conditions. Whether offshore or on the reef, a trip with Captain Art and mate Jerry is always a memorable adventure!.
