Mackeral Fishing
Our Guest today on the WILDBILL we’re from Tampa, Fl. We headed South on a Beautiful Friday morning with winds out of the South East at 7 mph. Maybe a 2 ft sea at most.
We started on the reef looking for some action with Cudas. Mackeral, and looking for some Mutton Snappers. We started to catch some BIG Cerro Mackeral. Scott (our guest) was an Old Pro on the Road/Reel. Really makes Charter fishing so much easier when when our Guest Fish themselves
We ended up with a pile of Mackeral including both Cerro, and Spanish. Ad a Bonita to the party, and that’s a pretty good 1/2 day.
Our Guests brought their catch to Dante’s to have some of their catch cooked up
Tough offshore fishing since the front, but inshore has been hot!!
