Family summer Special is a special that we like to offer during times of the year when families come together to vacation in Key West.
Summer time is a time when the kids are out of school, and parents have scheduled the family vacation. This is also the time of year our annual Dolphin run is in full swing.
Family summer Special is a dedicated bottom fishing trip. We have a very short run to the fishing grounds. (Usually 15 mins). We anchor up, put some chum out, and begin catching all kinds of different species of bottom fish. Snappers,Grouper,Porgy,Grunts,Sharks are in the lineup.
Family summer Special is a 3 hour trip designed for the new angler, or kids that need special instruction. Occasionally we get some familes that like to try for a new trophy for their wall at home. We are agents for Graytaxidermy.com
We also catch a variety of shark Reef Fishing on these trips. Black tips,Big Hammerhead n big Jack Crevalle and barracudas Black nose, and Nurse Shark are some of the regular Sharks we catch.
Our charters generally enjoy the fruits of their labor by going to DantesKeyWest.com to have some of their catch cooked to perfection. Have your catch Fried/Blackened/Grilled. It always makes your catch taste better when you caught it yourself 😊
